Professor Muhammad Yunus Arrives in Hainan, China

Hainan, China – Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus arrived in Hainan, China, on Wednesday at 4:15 PM Bangladesh Standard Time. He was warmly welcomed at Qionghai Bo’ao International Airport by Md. Nazmul Islam, Bangladesh Ambassador to China, and the Vice Governor of Hainan Province.

Professor Yunus is visiting Hainan to attend important discussions and events related to economic and social development. His work in microfinance and social business has gained worldwide recognition, and his visit to China is expected to strengthen ties between the two countries.

Officials and organizers in Hainan have expressed their appreciation for his presence.
