Rohingya Families will be allowed to Return to Homes in Maungdaw

AR Media, Date:04,04,2025.

The Terrorist Rakhine armed group (AA) has announced that residents from Feizi Village, Ali Village, Kanyin Taung, Maung Ni Village, and the Northern Quarter in Maungdaw Town will be allowed to return to their homes on Sunday. Many of these people have been living in internally displaced persons (IDP) camps and other Rohingya villages in northern Maungdaw for a long time.

These families were forced to leave their homes due to past violence and conflict. Since then, they have been living in difficult conditions in camps and other temporary shelters. Their return marks a significant moment for them, as they will finally be able to go back to their villages after years of displacement.

However, there are concerns about their safety and well-being. The return of these Rohingya families is being managed by groups known for their harsh treatment of the Rohingya community. Many worry about the security situation and whether they will be able to live peacefully in their homes.

Despite these concerns, families are preparing to return, hoping for a better future. Local and international organizations will be watching closely to see if their return is safe and if they receive the necessary support to rebuild their lives.
