Four Rohingya fishermen were arrested by the Arakan Army while they were fishing in the Naf River near Damdamia Island in Teknaf, Bangladesh. The fishermen were working in the river when the Arakan Army members approached and captured them.
After arresting the fishermen, the Arakan Army took them across the river to their territory in Myanmar. Their families and the local community are very worried because there has been no news about their safety or where exactly they are being kept.
The incident has caused fear among other fishermen and Rohingya refugees living in the area. Community leaders are calling for help from the authorities to find and rescue the fishermen. They are also asking for more protection to stop such incidents from happening again.
