H.E. Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, visited the Rohingya refugee camps today to observe ongoing humanitarian and development programs aimed at supporting the Rohingya community.
During his visit, he toured Camp 9, the Türkiye Hospital, and the TİKA Multipurpose Center in Camp 16. He reviewed various initiatives focused on healthcare services, educational opportunities, and community development projects that continue to benefit Rohingya refugees.
The visit was attended by Mr. Humayun Kabir, Adviser to Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman; the Ambassador of Türkiye to Bangladesh; RRRC Commissioner Mizanur Rahman; and the TİKA Country Representative in Bangladesh. Their presence highlighted Türkiye’s enduring commitment to humanitarian assistance and development support for the Rohingya people.
The delegation also engaged with members of the Rohingya community and witnessed firsthand the positive impact of Türkiye’s contributions and assistance within the camps.
The Rohingya community expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Government and people of Türkiye for their continued generosity, solidarity, and unwavering support. Türkiye’s humanitarian efforts have brought hope, relief, and essential services to thousands of Rohingya refugees, and this support is deeply appreciated and will always be remembered.
